Wise restrictions for Russian customers

This article was published on 15 March 2022. Fees, campaigns and availability may have changed since — check the provider’s current terms.

The impact of ongoing sanctions and recent developments in the region mean it’s difficult to operate in Russia. As a result:

  • Wise is unable to serve new and existing customers in Russia for the moment
  • Wise has closed their TO RUB route for the time being

This is a tough time and Wise thoughts and well-wishes are with all of those impacted. Wise will continue to do what they can to support those in need.
